The medieval village of Banon is a hilltop village in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence that overlooks a valley. The sky is bright blue, the sun shines 300 days a year. The climate is dry and is ideal to feel good.
The reputation of the village of Banon is due to the beauty of the landscapes, especially in the summer, with the fields of lavender of a purple blue that extends on vast fields, and, of course, to its cheese commonly called Banon.
Banon cheese is exclusively made from raw and whole goat milk. It is ripened in brown chestnut leaves.
